What do we think and what do we do with families and couples in psychoanalysis?
 

The Family and Couple Psychoanalysis Committee of the IPA and the Madrid Psychoanalytic Association will offer a 4 day conference on "Interpretation in Family and Couple Psychoanalysis" in Madrid, February 23-26, 2017. The event is co-sponsored by the International Psychotherapy Institute, the International Association of Couple and Family Psychoanalysis (IACFP) and FEAP societies (Spanish Federations of Psychotherapy Associations) and is supported in part by the IPA's CAPSA program to promote inter-regional analytic dialogue. The program features case presentations, discussant responses, and theoretical papers on the role of interpretation and other interventions in family and couple psychoanalysis. There will be ample time for the audience to join in the discussion. The program will feature simultaneous translation between Spanish and English throughout.

The Pre-Congress on Thursday, February 23 will run from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m
The Congress convenes on Friday, February 24 at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 26.
